Survey Data Collection and Use
Rose is a registered user of the open source KoboToolbox survey collection tool. KoboToolbox is licensed for use under the GNU license available here.
KoboToolbox is our Data Processor
- Once we create a project, KoboToolbox stores the information related to the survey and data collected by Rose staff which can include personal information.
How does KoboToolbox use Rose’ data?
Rose takes very seriously the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information and any data collected or stored using KoboToolbox.
- KoboToolbox processes data on Rose’behalf once a project has been created and collection of data begins.
- Rose fully owns all the application data that is collected and does not use, share or sell that information.
- Rose is the registered user of the data and is responsible for the safe management of personal information, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
How do we protect your data?
Rose and KoboToolbox are committed to protecting all data that has been collected. Industry standard best practices (both technical and administrative) are used to protect against unauthorized access of any data. They cannot guarantee, however, its absolute security. To protect from loss of data, they do frequent system and incremental backups which are stored encrypted in various locations.
Any and all data that is collected for Rose is maintained offline in secure location, is not shared or sold to any outside entity.
Information Collection and Use Regarding the Site
We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name (“Personal Information”).
