Mastulah Nalubwama Kiggala

Mastulah Nalubwama, Rose Director of Disability and Inclusive Programs

Mastulah Nalubwama is an amazing business professional that is continuing to make significant positive changes for persons with disabilities. She is heading up our new ROSE / UFHOH Resource Center that is set to break barriers of stigma and discriminatory practices that have stymied the disabled population for far too long. A co-founder of the Uganda Federation of the Hard of Hearing (UFHOH), member of World Hearing Forum and Uganda’s National Disability Council, Ms. Nalubwama is set to take Rose Academies to new levels in our efforts to empower the oppressed with knowledge.

Ms. Nalubwama has a BA in Social Work from Bugema University.

 

Dayton Jimmy Male

Dayton Male, Rose Director of Youth Programs, KTCC-Uganda

Dayton Jimmy Male is Director of Youth Programs for our Kids That Care Club (KTCC) -Uganda. His background in music and the arts have been the cornerstone of his program that is empowering youth to make healthy life choices while learning about their cultural heritage that embraces the arts, music and dance.

KTCC – Uganda is growing by leaps and bounds. These talented kids are learning about mental health, sexual reproductive health, puberty, disease prevention and more. Priscilla Akiror

Priscilla Akiror, Rose Director of Community Health Programs

Our newly appointed Director of Community Health Programs is Ms. Priscilla Akiror. Since 2021, Priscilla has been taking our healthcare training program into the rural villages of Buikwe. As we redefine our curriculum to be more inclusive and shift our training to the village health workers, we have asked Priscilla to take the lead in the program development. We are thrilled to have her experience and public health knowledge guide us as we enter this new direction to truly train the trainers.

Priscilla is a MPH student currently attending Makerere University, School of Public Health.
