How do you help impoverished rural communities to increase their income so they can experience financial freedom?
Working with Santa Clara University’s Engineering Group, we recreated the successful microfinance program that was developed by our colleague, Ms. Gertrude Nakintu. She started this initiative, in the small village of Katwadde, just 4 years ago and has grown to over 75 members with 50 that have now begun a micro-enterprise as a result.
From tedious manual entry to automatic calculations, this app will give Gertrude and others the means to increase incomes and experience financial freedom. There may be many microfinance applications available, but this one keeps villagers’ profits right in their community where it is needed most!
