Innovative Technology Improves Maternal Infant Child Healthcare Knowledge

Since 2019, Rose Academies has been taking innovative technology into the rural community and teaching about menstrual health and hygiene, neonatal health, sexual development, family planning and much more.

Today, 1,000’s of women living in rural poor areas have learned about their bodies and the importance of hygiene and sanitation to stay healthy. Thanks to the efforts of our academic working partners, our programs are comprehensive, research backed and evidence based so that lessons given are consistent and accurate.

OmwanaThrive app explains how to care for the newborn in easy to understand format.

Omwana Thrive is a fully integrated healthcare/nutrition program that is established at 8 local clinics in Uganda. Our objective is to prevent malnutrition in infants before it affects their growth and development.

Since our introduction to OmwanaThrive, thousands of mothers have learned how to feed and care for their infants, while lives are being saved.
